Digirad’s new Cardius® 1 XPO single-head nuclear cardiology imaging system is the first choice for lower volume practices or outreach service locations. Like all of Digirad’s nuclear cardiology cameras, the Cardius 1 XPO features modern solid-state detectors and advanced cardiac software. The Digirad Cardius 1 XPO can be easily installed in rooms as small as 7 X 8 ft and does not require floor anchoring, making it easy and inexpensive to relocate, if desirable, in the future. The Digirad Cardius 1 XPO is fully field-upgradeable to the higher efficiency, Digirad Cardius 2 XPO dual-head or Digirad Cardius 3 XPO triple-head configurations, if practice requirements or needs evolve.

The Digirad Cardius 1 XPO nuclear imaging system is a sleek, modern, single-head solid-state nuclear imaging system designed to deliver high performance and grow with changing practice needs. Solid-state detector technology offers a whole new range of possibilities for innovations in medical nuclear camera design due to the fact that it is lightweight, rugged and extremely compact. The Digirad Cardius 1 XPO nucelar imaging camera packs state-of-the-art imaging capabilities into a small footprint design that is more open than other systems. It’s why Cardius systems are more patient-friendly and enable nuclear imaging of patients up to 500 lbs.
The upright design makes patient ingress and egress easy. It also offers a significant clinical advantage as the upright position lowers the diaphragm, providing better separation between the heart and gut, improving both clinical quality and physician confidence. Digirad’s Solidium® HDSD (high-definition solid-state detector) offers a number of distinct performance enhancements over conventional Anger (photomultiplier tube-based) detector systems.
Solid-state gamma detector heads are more compact, more rugged and conform better to the typical cardiac patient’s body geometry. The Digirad XPO series introduces new Solidium HDSD that raise the standard in image quality, reliability and performance to a new level for the industry and the practice of nuclear cardiology.
